A few days ago we had
a pair of red shouldered hawks in the yard. Yesterday evening, a juvenile Cooper’s Hawk decided to hang out for a while in one of our maple trees. It had its feathers ruffled for several minutes, but then seemed to settle down to pose for a decent picture.
